Terms of use

Last updated October 31, 2026

These terms cover your use of ArmorKept, the AK Reports partner app and website, and armorkept.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. What ArmorKept is

ArmorKept is an accountability and content-filtering tool for iPhone. It blocks content, asks a chosen partner to approve apps and websites, and shares certain activity with that partner, as described in our privacy policy.

2. Consent and lawful use

  • You may only install ArmorKept on a phone you own or are legally responsible for, such as your own phone or your minor child's phone.
  • If you are the protected adult, you are choosing to share your activity with your partner. If you are a partner of an adult, that adult must know about and agree to the monitoring.
  • You may not use the Service to secretly monitor another adult, to stalk or harass anyone, or for any unlawful purpose.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for activity on your account. Parents or guardians are responsible for accounts used by minors.

4. Device management

Full protection requires setting up the iPhone as a supervised device, which erases the phone. Back up first. Once supervised and enrolled, ArmorKept and its profiles are designed to be hard to remove; removing them may require the partner's help or erasing the phone again. Follow our setup guide carefully.

5. No filter is perfect

We work hard to block harmful content, but no filter catches everything and some safe content may be blocked by mistake. iOS limits what any app can do; for example, images inside other apps can't be filtered before they appear. ArmorKept is a tool to support accountability, not a guarantee. It doesn't replace honest relationships, pastoral care or professional help.

6. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt or overload the Service, access other people's accounts, or use it to break the law.

7. Purchases

If ArmorKept offers paid features, they'll be sold through the App Store and governed by Apple's terms, including billing and refunds. We'll show prices clearly before you buy.

8. Our content

The Service, its design and code belong to ArmorKept. Bible verses are from the King James Version (public domain). We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the apps for their intended purpose.

9. Ending use

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

10. Disclaimers and limits

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, ArmorKept is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for content that gets past the filter. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Apple

These terms are between you and ArmorKept, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, and Apple's standard end-user license terms also apply to apps downloaded from the App Store.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
